If grading or production would carry an unseen result forward, assign a new physical sample to approve the revision first.
A new full sample may not be necessary when the change is small and low risk, the construction and material response are established, and the responsible reviewer explicitly accepts a documented change. This remains a project decision, not a universal numerical rule.
